Water System Improvements: This project involved phased construction on this 100,000 square foot building, along with updates of mechanical systems with improvement and code compliance of restrooms. Additionally, work included new electrical panels, restroom design and remodel including ADA completion, and infrastructure for reclaimed water to flush fixtures.
This was a phased remodel of the 100,000 square foot John L O'Brien Building located on the Capital Campus. This project involved installing complete new mechanical systems using a central variable air volume air handler, and VAV type terminal units. Hultz BHU's mechanical design reflected sustainably implemented equipment installed in a manner sensitive to the historical nature of the facility.
Port of Seattle Smith Cove Cruise Terminal T-91 is a two-berth, 140,000 square foot, two story cruise facility that includes Customs and Border Patrol facilities, ticketing, baggage handling and provisioning areas. Building hosted 931,698 passengers in first year of use. Facility HVAC system was designed using natural ventilation systems for the passenger and cargo transfer areas, with a water coupled heat pump system for heat generation.
Upgrade and expansion of the Thurston County Tilley Road operations center to include remodel of two existing buildings, a new three-story Administration Building, new Vehicle Storage Building, new County Emergency Operations Center and a new Fuel Island. The Administration Building (Building C) and the Emergency Operations Center (Building E) both received LEED Gold Certification.

New Residential Mental Health Housing Unit at the Green Hill School for the Jevenile Rehabilitation Administration of Washington. Project was awarded LEED Silver Certification. Sustainable elements included the high efficiency heat recovery system, low flush fixtures and efficient light fixtures.
